More than 100 artillery shells from the Second World War were found in a field in the Polish town of Magnuszew.
A farmer in the Polish town of Magnuszew came across an object similar to a cannonball while he was plowing his field. The police, who came to the field after the farmer's name was not disclosed, informed the bomb disposal experts when he confirmed that the object in question was an artillery shell. Bomb disposal experts who came to the field detected more than 100 unexploded artillery shells as a result of their detailed research. After hours of work, the bomb disposal experts removed the cannonballs from where they were buried and took them to the training area in Deblin to neutralize the cannonballs. It was stated that the artillery shells were from the Second World War era.It is estimated that there are thousands of unexploded materials such as bombs, mines and artillery shells that have not yet been identified in Poland, which was heavily destroyed in the Second World War. In case of encountering a suspicious object, citizens are asked not to touch the object in question, not to carry it to another place and to inform the police as soon as possible.
