Fuel tanker colliding with a car in the USA caught fire: 1 dead

  As a result of the fuel tanker colliding with a car on a bridge in the US state of Connecticut, overturned and caught fire, 1 person died and 2 others were injured.

  A fuel tanker underway on the Gold Star Bridge in Groton, Connecticut, USA, collided with the car with a flat tire and overturned. As the fire broke out in the tanker, the flames spread to the bridge. Firefighters, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont announced that the tanker driver died in the accident and 2 people in the car were injured. Roads on the bridge were closed to traffic in both directions due to the accident.
